Blog #2559: Toy Review: Transformers: Legacy Evolution Stunticon Gift Set (Breakdown, Dead End, Dragstrip, Motormaster, Wild Rider, Menasor)

Transformers: Legacy Evolution Stunticon Gift Set (Breakdown, Dead End, Dragstrip, Motormaster, Wildrider, Menasor)

Breakdown

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Stunticon Wild Rider, Legacy Deluxe Class Stunticon Wild Rider

Breakdown has a new head that looks more like the original toy and a deco to match. Regrettably, they didn’t bother to give him a gun.

Dead End

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Stunticon Dead End, Legacy Evolution Deluxe Class G2 Stunticon Dead End

Dead End has a new deco to match the original toy. (You will find this a recurring theme.)

Dragstrip

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Dragstrip, Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Deluxe Class Shadowstrip

Dragstrip has a new deco to match the original toy.

Wild Rider

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Stunticon Wild Rider, Legacy Deluxe Class Stunticon Wild Rider, Legacy Evolution Stunticon Gift Set Deluxe Class Breakdown

Wild Rider has a new deco to match the original toy.

Motormaster

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Commander Class Stunticon Motormaster

Motormaster has a new deco to match the original toy. I much prefer this version of Motormaster to the original.

Menasor

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Combiner Stunticon Menasor

I greatly prefer the new toy version Menasor to the original.

Overall: For completists only, unless you skipped the animated version expecting they would release a toy version later.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
