Blog #2538: Toy Review: Transformers: Target Leader Class Optimus Prime and Bullseye

Transformers: Target Leader Class Optimus Prime and Bullseye

Bullseye

Previous Mold Use: Siege Battle Master Ravage, Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Battle Master Ravage, Shattered Glass Battle Master Ravage

Ravage is a cat. Bullseye is a dog. I’m confused. I do like how they painted Bullseye on the side of the plastic rectangle that is absolutely not a cassette.

Optimus Prime

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Leader Class Laser Optimus Prime, Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Leader Class Scourge, Legacy Evolution Generation 2 Leader Class Toxitron

Optimus Prime has been repainted in black, red, and gray and even has a Target logo on his chest. He looks great. I love the way they painted his trailer, which is from the Earthrise Optimus Prime.

Overall: Probably not a must have, but a great repaint. I’d like them to do more store trucks like this. I’d kill for a Toys R Us truck. Maybe they could even do a series of defunct toy store trucks like Kay-Bee, Child World, Tons of Toys, etc.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
