Blog #2450: Toy Review: Dr. Wu Space Sky Glider and, Blue Thunder (Generation One Powerglide and Thundercracker)

Dr. Wu Space Sky Glider and, Blue Thunder (Generation One Powerglide and Thundercracker)

Dr. Wu primarily makes small scale Third Party toys.

Powerglide

Powerglide is really cool in vehicle mode. I haven’t watched the cartoon in a while, but I think he’s really accurate to the animation in both modes. His face sculpt looks perfect.

Thundercracker

Thundercracker looks amazing. Hard to get him so perfect at this small scale, but they did. Unfortunately, he’s the only one of the original three seekers I’ve manager to find. However, Starscream and Skywarp are being reissued next year as part of a three pack.

Overall: I really like these little guys. They are a little expensive for their size, but they are much cheaper than larger third party figures.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
