Blog #2442: Toy Review: TFC Toys Redknight (Generation One Braver)

TFC Toys Redknight (Generation One Braver)

Braver

Vehicle Mode: There have been an incalculable number of Transformers sports car toys, both office and unofficial, and this has got to be among the ten most awesome looking. Everything about the design is perfect. Paint apps are minimal, but perfect.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Braver looks great. Paint apps are perfect and I really like his head sculpt. I love his sword and guns. You might be wondering about Brainmaster functionality. He has it. I seem to have deleted the photos I took of his Brainmaster, but there is not much to see. In robot mode he is tiny, and completely out of scale to his vehicle mode. But I give TFC credit for including it, and it does work, though the mechanism is a bit finicky. He also comes with a separate had of the same sculpt. With his Brainmaster forming his head, he had little to no neck articulation, so they included the second head to give him some articulation.

Overall: Braver is a great toy. I was really lucky to find all three Trinity Force members at a comic book store. They are really pricey on eBay, but if you can find them at a reasonable price, I can’t recommend them enough.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
