TFC Toys Rhadamanthus (Generation One Leozack with Lionbreast)
Lionbreast
Lionbreast look great in lion mode, but could have used a few more paint apps.
Leozack
Vehicle Mode: Loezack’s jet mode looks almost perfect. With most jet transformers, you’re going to have some amount of robot bits hanging under the fuselage. But Leozack has a big whole. It looks like the part is turned round backwards. It’s hard to imagine nobody looked at this and didn’t think they could have made that look a bit better. I’ll be honest, I might be making a lot out of a small thing, but I paid a lot for this set, and I expected better engineering than this.
Robot Mode: Ignoring the flawed vehicle mode, Leozack looks great in robot mode. I love his head sculpt. Unfortunately Lionbreast looks stuck onto his chest rather than part of it, a problem most of his teammates suffer from.
Overall: While this was being designed, did nobody say, “Maybe we need a plate to fold over the exposed internal parts under his fuselage?” I’m sure this isn’t the first toy that’s done it, Hasbro or Third Party, but I can’t think of one that bugged me as much as this one. Still, he’s a great toy otherwise.
