Transformers Beast Wars Ultra Class Convoy (Optimus Primal) Repaints (Burning Convoy, Special Convoy Real Gray Type, Special Convoy Skeleton Type)

Way back when, Takara used to give us great repaints that we didn’t get in the USA. Beast Wars Ultra Class Optimus Primal was repainted in three different versions, Burning Convoy, Special Convoy Real Gray Type, Special Convoy Skeleton Type. I’m jut going to call them Burning, Gray, and Skeleton for short.

You can read my previous review of this mold here. Burning is by far my favorite. He looks great with the gold paint. Skeleton’s clear plastic has browned a bit over the years, but he still looks great. Gray uses dark gray plastic instead of black and has dark blue plastic and red beast eyes. These are all cool, but probably only for completists.
