Transformers Artifact of the Week: Transformers Armada Iron-On Patches

I picked these up at Dairycon this past spring. Transformers Armada (or Super Robot Life-Form Transformers: Legends of the Microns as it was known in Japan) embroidered iron-on patches of Megatron and Starscream. I’ve never seen any of these before.

I can’t be 100% sure that they are official. I’m assuming the text is Japanese since the company web site is http://www.pioneer21.co.jp. There is a sticker on the front with the logo and it says 2003 Takara, but that doesn’t necessarily make it official. If you have or have seen any more of these, or if you know anything about them, please let me know.
