Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) Toys R Us Exclusive Clash of the Transformers Warrior Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, & Sideswipe

Clash of the Transformers is a series of mostly repaints exclusive to Toys R Us stores.

All three are repaints.  Please read my original reviews of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Sideswipe.

Bumblebee

I really like Bumblebee’s new paint job in robot mode.  The silver and blue looks really nice.  In vehicle mode, I don’t understand the logic of the translucent blue rear windows and black front and side windows.  I think it would have looked better if he had some silver on him in vehicle mode.  Nice repaint though.

Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime looks nice, but he needed some more paint apps on his legs.  Either silver of white would have looked good and then been visible on top of the trailer.  Other than that, he looks great.

Sideswipe

I like this Sideswipe repaint much better than the One Step Changer Ninja Mode Sideswipe because the red and blue highlights make it look really cool.  His robot mode could have used some more red on his upper body, but otherwise I like it.

Overall: These are some nice repaints, but I’m not sure they are must have toys unless you’re a completist.  I would say that Bumblebee is the best of them.
