Transformers: Generations: Combiner Wars Deluxe Protectobot Blades

Vehicle Mode: Hasbro got lazy with Blades, which is a bit surprising, since they’ve gone to great lengths with some of the other toys.  Blades is a rescue helicopter.  He should not have missiles.  They should have remolded his forearms.  Perhaps to have life boats or something.  It’s a small thing, but it really shouldn’t have been that hard.  He’s nicely painted, but unfortunately, he’s the wrong color.  Blades should be orange and white, not red and white.  As of now, the Japanese Unite Warriors release has only been shown with what appears to be a USA toy with an unpainted prototype of deluxe Groove.  Usually the paint apps are changed on the Japanese toys, so I am holding out hope that the final version might have Blades in the correct colors.  I have to get it anyway for the Groove, so that would work out really well.

Robot Mode: He’s got a new head sculpt that looks great.

Overall: The overall color problem and missiles on his arms aside, Blades looks really great.
