Transformers Generations Deluxe Tankor with Comic Book

Vehicle Mode: Tankor is very faithful to the animation from Beast Machines.  The problem is, he looked lousy with his head visible like that in the cartoon.  Honestly, I think I liked the original Beast Machines Voyager Tankor toy more than this one, even though tit didn’t look anything like him.  The only thing that does not look accurate to me is his cannon.  I thought in the cartoon it was mounted on the back right corner of the vehicle and not on an arm like it is on this toy.

Robot Mode: His robot mode is awesome.  He looks really great and very faithful to the animation.  He is awfully small though.  Deluxes have gotten smaller in recent years, but he still seems small by comparison.  This toy probably should have been a Voyager.

Overall: I have to recommend it, it is the most faithful Tankor we’re ever going to see.  Unfortunately, this is a situation where being a little less faithful might have made him look a whole lot better in vehicle mode.
