Transformers Construct Bots Scout Wave 3 Silverbolt, Cliffjumper, Dead End, and Breakdown

I am still very unhappy with the overall quality of the line.  The instructions are a joke, often not showing the same transformation to vehicle mode as the toy is pictured on the cover, often leaving the weapons off the vehicle mode entirely, and sometimes showing parts moved in ways that it is not possible to move them on the toy.  If Hasbro really wants to challenge Lego (and this is true for Kre-O as well) they need to stop looking like a Lego knockoff (which is what they essentially are).

Silverbolt

Silverbolt is okay.  Nothing special.  His head sculpt isn’t bad, but he looks nothing like Silverbolt.  Vehicle mode is the pretty standard jet design.  Nothing special.  (I know I said that twice, but it warranted repeating.

Cliffjumper

Again, pretty much the same as Silverbolt.  Nothing special.

Dead End

Now, this is…different.  He is a car with the nose of a jet.  I love the colors, but…he is a car with the nose of a jet.  He does have a pretty great head sculpt.  Robot mode looks nice.

Breakdown

Breakdown is the best of the wave.  Being a truck in vehicle mode, he’s clearly meant to be Transformers Prime Breakdown, but his head sculpt is 100% G1 and really nice.  I like his axe accessory, even if it’s useless in vehicle mode.  Pretty cool.
