Scorn

Dino Mode: Scorn is incredible. He’s probably the best Dinobot toy from the last two movie toy lines. I love the colors. The spines on his back are all soft plastic, which is not ideal, but the plastic feels slightly more solid than the soft plastic from Age of Extinction, so it’s not so bad.

Robot Mode: He looks great in robot mode. He’s kind of a massive hulking robot. I just don’t know why he has that duckbill looking thing on his face. I kind of wish he had two arms and his tail became a sword, but it doesn’t look bad at all.

Overall: This is a great toy. The only thing that bugs me is that Age of Extinction Deluxe Scorn was amazing too, and so far the only Age of Extinction Dinobot not to get repainted. They could have repainted Deluxe Scorn and given us a better toys of another Dinobot, Slug for example, whose Age of Extinction toys wasn’t very good, or Slog, who was awful. Just seems like a missed opportunity to give us better toy of a different character. That doesn’t take away from this toy being one of the highlights of the entire line. Scorn is a must.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
